This Privacy Policy explains how [COMPANY] (“MyGlovebox,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the MyGlovebox mobile app and website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Identifiers. An account identifier and the email address you sign in with. We use passwordless sign-in (a one-time code sent to your email, or Apple/Google sign-in); we do not store a password.
  • User content. The vehicle and maintenance information you enter — vehicle details and VIN, service records, mileage, costs, vendors, notes, reminders, and any photos or documents you upload (such as receipts, titles, or insurance cards).
  • Purchase history. Records of your MyGlovebox subscription status and transactions, processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
  • Usage and diagnostics. De-identified product analytics and crash data used to improve reliability. We do not include your VIN or personal receipt content in analytics.

How we use information

  • To provide the Service: store your records and generate history.
  • To send maintenance reminders and account notifications you enable.
  • To process subscriptions and verify entitlements with the app stores or our payment processor.
  • To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

Share links you create

When you create a shareable history link, anyone with that link can view the vehicle history you chose to publish. Shared pages are deliberately redacted: they exclude your account identifier, show only the last six characters of the VIN, never include your private notes, and include costs only when you turn on “include costs.” You can revoke a link at any time, which immediately disables it. Copies already cached by third-party link previews are outside our control.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service providers that host and operate the Service (cloud infrastructure, storage, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing) under contract.
  • App stores and payment processors to manage subscriptions.
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
  • Anyone you deliberately give a share link to (see above).

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app’s Settings screen or via our account deletion page. Deletion removes your profile, vehicles, records, reminders, share links, and uploaded files from our production systems, subject to limited retention required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes. You can export a full CSV of any vehicle’s history before deleting.

Security

Uploaded files are stored privately and served only through short-lived, expiring links. We use encryption in transit and access controls scoped to your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights
